Population Four : Ceres

Population Four : Ceres

Population Four are a band who aren’t afraid of getting their heads down and putting their backs into their music. With almost 50 shows played over the last six months, the boys are well on their way to mainstream success.

With the release of their newest E.P, ‘This Town Will Drag You Down‘, I caught up with the boys to ask them the 15 Questions We Ask Everyone; today it’s Ceres’ turn.

1. Hello there little monster, what are you up to?

Hi, not doing a great deal at the moment, sat in our practice room with Sy and Cooko answering these questions.

2. So, tell me about what you’re here to promote?

I guess the most important thing for us to promote at the moment is our new CD. It's gonna be called This Town Will Drag You Down. We're nearly finished
now so keep your eyes out for an EP launch night in May.

3. And if we didn’t have any clue as to who you were, what should we be looking up on Google?

You should just put our band name "Population Four" into Google where you will find loads of stuff like our music video, our myspace and a link to our
Facebook page. Go look.

4. And as Jacko had the Moonwalk and Elvis had the snake hips, what do you have that makes you unique?

Not a great deal that's unique about us. We're skint and tired like most bands in our position but we do love it and we'll always do our best to put on a
good show for whoever wants to watch.

5. Now, clearly we need to get to know each other more, so tell me an interesting fact about you that no one else knows?

I have been head over heels in love with our singer for the past twelve months but I'm terrified of complicating things.

6. What song do you wish you’d written?

Midnight Regulations by Alexisonfire, its my favourite song off their latest album. T’is good.

7. If I was contemplating coming to your show or sitting at home and TV, how would you convince me to come out?

I would ask you really, really politely to please come and watch us. If that didn't work I'd tell you to get on youtube and watch our music video and hope
it might change your mind.

8. And if you were to take me on a trip to your hometown, what would be the first place we’d go?

I would take you to our practice room, there's usually something going on there.

9. What’s the best prank you’ve ever pulled on someone?

We once made a prank phone call to a guitarist whose band used to use our practice room on a Saturday. We pretended to be someone who worked at the mill
(the practice rooms) and explained that he would be receiving a massive bill to replace the equipment that had been damaged that day by someone mis-using
our room (although nothing had actually been damaged or anything). Looking back we should of just taken his money haha!

10. And what’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done? Please tell us how it ended up!

Eeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrm I once ate Sy's last Rolo. Had to watch my back for a while after that.

11. If you had to date a member of the same sex (or opposite sex if the case may be) who would it be? Mine would ALWAYS be Angelina Jolie.

Rick, as you may have guessed from question five.

12. Have you ever been naked in public? Elaborate.

Haha yeah but it's very rare, people are far too quick with camera phones nowadays so you cant get away with much.

13. Have you ever been arrested? Again, elaborate.

No, would try and think of a good lie but I don't think anyone’s going to believe me.

14. Speaking of prison - if you were to send someone to prison for crimes against music, who would it be?

MORRISSEY!

15. What were you doing last night at 11?

Was round at a mates house. A few of us went round to chill out, watch some Flight of the Concords and listen to some new tracks.
