The Libertines are on and off more times than our kettle, but it seems that Pete Doherty has decided that a reunion is definitely on the cards for next year.
The singer, who has supposedly cleaned up his act of late, has finally buried the hatchet with bandmate Carl Barat after playing a tribute gig last month, along with drummer Gary Powell.
After a solo set at Saturday's Love Music Hate Racism gig in Stoke, Pete, or Peter Doherty as he likes to be called these days, told The Sun; "Definitely next year, we will do it."
So, will 2010 be the year that Indie music makes a glorious comeback? Well, we’ll see if Pete can stay off the drugs long enough…
