Female First can today exclusively reveal the lyric video for Alejandra Ribera's forthcoming single 'Goodnight Persephone', which she'll be performing tomorrow (March 8) at Servants Jazz Quarter, London.
Ribera has been crowned Best New Artist at both Vancouver and Edmonton Folk Festivals in 2014 and it's easy to know why when you get your first listen to her work - she's got haunting and melodic vocals that weave themselves around enriching melodies and genius instrumental work.
Having already performed at many festivals through her career to-date, including Luminato Festival, Nuit Boreale and Montreal Jazz Fest, Ribera is now ready to take the next big step towards superstardom.
'Goodnight Persephone' is officially released on March 11, and is taken from debut album 'La Boca', which follows with a release on March 25, both via Jazz Village.
