Another girl band I hear you yawn… how tiresome it is getting to see more and more lady popstars all hanging out wearing similar outfits - just in different colours - 8i cant take much more….
Luckily, The Scarletz are a London girl band with a twist. These ladies make quirky pop with an apple on top. Horray! Featuring Bryony Jobes, Claire Martyne, Katiya Borlant and Tahnee Lee, we can't help but want to eat candy floss and run around with no shoes on.
With their infectious blend of ska-infused pop combined with witty, intelligent lyrics and beautiful harmonies, The Scarletz are accomplished songwriters with a fresh attitude to pop - and one you can try and two-step to!
Performing with a live band, they bring real credibility to the girl group genre unlike many of their competitors out there, probably because they draw influence from some decent acts such as Madness, The Specials, All Saints and, er, Lily Allen.
With their striking red lips, contrasting hair colours and awesome style, they catch the eye as well as the ear, and never fail to steal the show wherever they go!
