If you love thrash-metal, and you want to be ahead of the pack when it comes to getting your grubby little mitts on the best new music exploding onto the scene you need to get your radar tuned into Souls Beyond.
And, no, not just because they are ridiculously good-looking for a metal band, and actually appear to have had a shower in the past three months but because with well-honed influences from the likes of Machine Head, The Haunted, Slipknot, Killswitch Engage and Slayer thereâs little doubt that these boys are a force to be reckoned with.
The band proposes an alternating music force and melody and allying the roots of the metal old school with those some modern metal. Having auto-produced their first two demos "Revolution" in 2005 and "Silence Of Chaos" in 2006, the band dashed into the recordings of a new EP; âDust and Shadows" whilst trying at most to impose their incredible style.
Accustomed to rock stages in their hometown of Lyons, France, the band have already shared the bill with metal heavyweights such as Trivium, Annihilator, Sanctity, The Old Dead Tree, Zuul FX and Hacride, and look set to only get bigger with time.
Souls Beyond is a real compromise between energy and ethnicity, so get them on your iPod before your ears cave in.
