Despite only being 16 years-old Justin Bieber has had a very successful year. After the release of My World, he became the first artist to have seven songs from a debut album to chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

The Script- Science and Faith

Science and Faith was The Scripts second album as is in every way as good as the first. It debuted at number one in the UK selling 70,816 copies in the first week of sales.

Boyzone- Brother

Brother was named after the late Stephen Gately and is Boyzone’s fourth studio album, but with a 12 year gap between the third and fourth it was long overdue, but well worth the wait.

Take That-Progress

Progress is Take That’s sixth album, however this was the first album to include all five band members since 1995, after Robbie returned to join the group this year.

Plan B- The Defamation of Strickland Banks

Plan B’s second album The Defamation of Strickland Banks is a far cry from his debut. This album shows much more of his singing ability, and the singles released from it made their mark on this year’s chat shows.

Eminem- Recovery

Recovery is the seventh album by American rapper Eminem, the album made it to number one in 13 charts across the world. In the U.S Recovery became Eminem’s sixth consecutive number one album and stuck at the top of the chat for seven weeks.

Katy Perry-Teenage Dream

Katy Perry’s third album Teenage Dream sold more than four million digital copies. The album was nominated for album of the year and best pop vocal at the 2010 Grammy Awards.
