Hello upcoming little rockstars of the world,
You all know me as the journalist here at FemaleFirst.co.uk and I'm putting together a new feature on the site which will showcase some upcoming UK bands who I think deserve a chance to show our 3.5 million monthly readers what they've got.
I know how hard it is for a band to 'make it' these days, and whilst I often have 'famous people' coming into the office and doing a site takeover, I thought it was about time some unsigned bands got a chance to do the same.
If you can get to our Wigan office (WN4 9AG) easily or have a gig coming up in Manchester or Liverpool, it would be great to hear from you. To get your faces onto the site, all you'd have to do is pop in for a hour, have a little interview with me, look pretty for a couple of photos and perform an original song as well as a cover, and voila, instant publicity.
It's a good little thing to coincide with a regional tour as we're pretty close to Manchester, Liverpool & Preston (just by the M6 and M62 junctions) and we have already had some 'big names' in, ranging to Charlie Simpson's Fightstar, Kids In Glass Houses, The Blackout and comedienne Olivia Lee, we also have Alesha Dixon and McFly in over the next few months.
