Reading and Leeds Festivals are just over a week away, and we're already getting our wellies and tents ready to enjoy the weekend.
Continuing our previews of some exciting acts to keep an eye out for, we take a look at The Streets.
After five albums, Mike Skinner is bringing his project to an end
The final album Computers and Blues was released back in February and the resulting tour (expected to end in 2012) will mark the end of the project.
A hugely influential voice on the UK rap scene, fans at Leeds Festival would be making a mistake not taking the opportunity to see Skinner live while they still have the chance.
No stranger to festivals, Skinner knows how to work a crowd and should make for an exciting warm-up for 2manydjs.
It's almost disappointing that The Streets won't be headlining the NME Stage on their day, as it would make for a great way to close the stage.
With Top 10 hits 'Dry Your Eyes', 'Fit But You Know It' and 'When You Wasn't Famous' to their name, The Streets will be able to create a typical festival set, entertaining the hardcore and uneducated alike.
We won't know for sure until the stage times are released next week, but The Streets look to be playing at the same time as Elbow and Flogging Molly.
There shouldn't be too much of a crossover between those bands, and hopefully a good crowd turn out for what should be one of the most exciting sets of the weekend.
