Kempton Park is delighted to announce the launch of ‘Kempton Live’, an incredible schedule of top class entertainment for the summer of 2011.  Top acts, including Peter Andre, Olly Murs and Darius, will take to the stage after the racing action is completed.  Each of the musical extravaganzas will be rounded off by a spectacular fireworks display, courtesy of Aurora Fireworks.  Kempton Live kicks off on June 8th with Rebecca Ferguson and Aiden Grimshaw who reached the finals of the X Factor in 2010.

Live horse racing action under the floodlights, before the action on the stage kicks off, will really put you in the mood for the non-stop musical extravaganzas.  Kempton Park, within easy reach of the capital, is London’s premier horse racing and entertainment venue and Kempton Live offers something for everyone this summer.

Rebecca and Aiden – June 8 Rebecca Ferguson and Aiden Grimshaw, two finalists from the X Factor, will be on stage to launch Kempton Live this June.  Soulful singer Rebecca will wow you with her beautiful renditions of pop classics and it’ll be a great opportunity to see Aiden, tipped by Louis Walsh as being the next big male pop star.  If you missed out seeing Rebecca and Aiden during the X Factor tour, come along to Kempton Park to cheer for your favourite performer.

Big Band Night featuring Darius Campbell – June 22   Join friends and family for a sing-song on Big Band Night!  Platinum-selling singer-songwriter Darius, and winner of ITV1’s Popstar to Operastar, will be leading the sing along.  Darius, who has had five UK Top Ten singles and supported Shakira on her world tour, has recently been performing in some of the biggest Operatic productions ever in the UK and made a guest appearance at the Beatles 50th Anniversary Concert at the Royal Albert Hall.

Peter Andre – July 6 Peter is now a major UK celebrity with his own TV show, hit albums and a prestigious “Dad of the Year” title to boot.  Music and touring remains hugely important to Peter and he will be bringing his electrifying live show to Kempton Park for one night only.  Peter’s performance at Kempton Park will be the first time he has appeared at a racecourse in the UK and this special race night will be a great family event.  Tickets include a great evening of exciting horse racing followed by Peter’s electrifying concert. Irish Night featuring Hothouse Flowers – Aug 3 One of the best Irish rock group’s of the 80’s and 90’s, Hothouse Flowers, will have you jigging along to their unique mix of soul, gospel and rock on the hugely popular Irish Night at Kempton Park. Following support from U2’s Bono, Hothouse Flowers leapt to stardom. 

Their first album ‘People’ was the most successful debut album in Irish history, with hits such as ‘Don’t Go’, ‘I’m sorry’ and ‘Easier in the morning’.  Following a break from touring ‘The Flowers’ are currently enjoying resurgence in popularity.  Don’t miss the opportunity to see this iconic Irish band perform some of your favourite hits.  Go green, get down to Kempton Park and enjoy the craic!

Ladies Day – Sept 3 Get the girls together for a fantastic day of fashion and fun at totesport September & Sirenia Stakes Day.  Ladies Day is a special sporting event that gives the fairer sex the perfect excuse to wear that special outfit and have some fun. Kempton Live events are fantastic value for money!  Adult (18 and over) admission for evening events costs £20, but book in advance (by midday on the day of racing) and you'll be entitled to a massive 20% discount!  That's just £16 for a top night of racing and entertainment!  Adult admission for Ladies’ Day costs just £15 on the day or £12 if you book in advance.
