DreamWorks have delivered some terrific animation films in recent years, and now they are going to introduce us to a new alien race called the Boov!
Almost Home is a brand new short that will introduce to these new characters ahead of the feature film release at the end of the year.
Tim Johnson is in the director’s chair for the film, while Jim Parsons, Jennifer Lopez, Steve Martin and Rihanna have all lent their voices to this great animation project.

When Earth is taken over by the overly-confident Boov, an alien race in search of a new place to call home, all humans are promptly relocated, while all Boov get busy reorganizing the planet.
But when one resourceful girl, Tip, (Rihanna) manages to avoid capture, she finds herself the accidental accomplice of a banished Boov named Oh (Jim Parsons).
The two fugitives realize there’s a lot more at stake than intergalactic relations as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime.
Keep your eyes peeled for the Boov, as they are set to light up the big screen with their space adventure.
Home is released in December.
