Ryan Reynolds says he doesn't know if we will see Deadpool make the crossover into any future X-Men movies.
We are set to see Reynolds reprise the role of Deadpool in the first solo film for the character at the beginning of next year - it is already one of the most anticipated and talked about movies of 2016.
We first saw Deadpool in X-Men Origins: Wolverine but he was unsure if he would appear in any other franchises when asked the question by Screen Rant.
Reynolds said: "That's a damn good question. You tell me. It would be kind of hard, wouldn't it? Because you have a character - let's say you have a character who knows he's in a comic book movie, that sort of breaks the fourth wall [and] has a tendency to kind of say people's real names instead of their characters' names.
"How do you introduce that into another universe that... does not do that? So... I don't know. I'd be curious to say. I'm not saying that's not going to happen. I don't know if it's going to happen. I would love to see that."
Deadpool sees Tim Miller in the director's chair for the film, while Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano, and T.J. Miller are also on the cast list.
As for Reynolds, he is set to return to the big screen next month with his new film Self/less, which is the latest film from director Tarsem Singn. The movie also sees Ben Kingsley and Matthew Goode on the cast list.
Reynolds has also finished work on Criminal, which sees him star alongside Gal Gadot, Gary Oldman and Kevin Costner.
Deadpool is released 5th February 2016.
