Jeremy Renner has revealed that he will be returning to Mission: Impossible 5.
Renner took on the role of William Brandt for the first time in Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, he will be reprising the role of a second film.
When asked by Yahoo if he was interested in a role in the second season of True Detective, he said: "I'm kind of strapped time-wise doing Avengers 2, and Mission: Impossible 5 is rearing its head, and then they want to do another Bourne movie."
The movie will see Renner reunite with Tom Cruise, who will be back as Ethan Hunt for a fifth time.
Christopher McQuarrie has taken over the director's chair, in what will be his first film since Jack Reacher.
Renner is currently filming Avengers: Age of Ultron, where he will reprise the role of Hawkeye.
The actor will be back on the big screen this autumn in Kill The Messenger, where he will take on the role of Gary Webb in this true story.
Mission: Impossible 5 is set to be released 26th December.
