Christina Hendricks says it was 'extraordinary' to get the chance to work with Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Hendricks stars alongside Hoffman in God's Pocket, which is set to be one of his final big screen performances.
Hendricks has described God's Pocket as a 'special' project for everyone who was involved.
Speaking to Collider, Hendricks said: "We’ve obviously been grieving, but it doesn’t take away from how special it was, at the time, and how special it is now.
"The fact that Phil was in it and we got to work with him was extraordinary, and now we have this beautiful finished product that we hope people will still want to see. It’s very special to us."
God's Pocket brings together a terrific cast, as Eddie Marsan, Caleb Landry Jones, Jack O'Connell, Richard Jenkins, and John Turturro join Hendricks and Hoffman.
The movie also sees actor John Slattery in the director's chair making his feature film directorial debut.
As for Hendricks, she will also be back on the big screen later this year with Lost River & Dark Places.
