Alec Baldwin has described movie Rock of Ages as a 'complete disaster'.
Baldwin joined an all star cast that included Julianne Hough, Tom Cruise, Russell Brand and Catherine Zeta Jones for the musical, which was directed by Adam Shankman.
There may have been a great cast on show but the movie was not met well by the critics and struggled at the box office.
Speaking at the American Magazine Media Conference in New York earlier this week, he said: "It was a complete disaster. A week in you go, 'Oh God, what have I done?' "
Rock Of Ages cost $75 million to make but only grossed back $59.4 million at the global box office by the end of its theatrical run.
Baldwin has returned to the box office recently with Blue Jasmine: which is directed by Woody Allen and sees him team up with Cate Blanchett.
Blue Jasmine has been a critical smash and is already being tipped as a possible Oscar contender.
Baldwin has also finished work on a new Cameron Crowe film with Rachel McAdams, Emma Stone and Bradley Cooper.
