Johnny Depp is currently being treated like a king on a trip to Serbia.
The Hollywood heart-throb is over in the Eastern European country to help open the Kustendorf International Film and Music Festival in the city of Drvengrad.
Earlier in the week he was given a warm welcome by the nation and met Serbia’s president Boris Tadic in the capital Belgrade on Tuesday.
He was then taken to Drvengrad where officials unveiled a statue of the star in recognition of his contribution to the movie industry.
The festival was launched by Serbian director Emir Kusturica, for whom Depp is set to take the role of Mexican revolutionary Pancho Villa.
The movie, given the snappy title of Seven Friends of Pancho Villa and the Woman with Six Fingers, is rumoured to be coming out 2012.
