Jeff Bridges has credited his wife for his Oscar win.
The actor picked up his first Oscar for his central performance in Crazy Heart on Sunday night and the actor thanked the support of his whole family.
Speaking as he collected his award he said: I especially want to thank my gorgeous wife Sue, we've been married 33 years.
"We have a beautiful family. Three girls, Isabelle, Jessie and Hayley. Thank you, guys. I wouldn't be up here without you. Thank you so much."
Bridges' first major movie role came in 1971 when he appeared in The Last Picture Show, a role which brought him his first Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
He has bagged four more nominations since then, including Crazy Heart but has never got his hands on an award until this weekend.
The actor dominated the awards circuit picking up gongs at the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild Awards and was the red hot favourite to walk away with the Oscar.
The Giver, Tron Legacy and True grit are all on the horizon for 2010.
