Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
It doesn't seem five minutes since we were all praising Colin Firth for his performance in The King's Speech at the 2011 Baftas and here we are again.
Yes twelve months on and we have a whole host of other films and stars set to battle it out to get their hands on one of the most coveted prizes in film.
And here at FemaleFirst we have made some predictions as to who will walk away with what on Sunday evening.
Now I have ranted and raved already about how Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy should win just about everything that it is nominated for because it is a British movie at a British awards ceremony... sadly I don't think that will happen.
However I think that the movie is likely to walk away with Outstanding British Film - I would like it to win Best Picture as well but The Artist is the fave to scoop that gong.
And it's fair to say that I will be outraged if Gary Oldman does not walk away with Best Actor in what was a superb performance from him as George Smiley.
Rather boringly it seems that Meryl Streep is destined to win everything that she is nominated for and will walk away with Best Actress.
There could be Brit success not only at the Baftas but also at the Oscars in the form of Christopher Plummer for Best Supporting Actor - he seems to have really struck a note with his performance in Beginners.
But there is a huge Brit presence in that category as Jim Broadbent and Kennth Brangh are also nominated.
Octavia Spencer has also be a permanent fixture in the Best Supporting Actress for her moving and yet hilarious turn in The Help.

- Outstanding debut by a British writer, director or producer: Paddy Considine
- Foreign language film: A Separation
- Director: Michel Hazanavicius (The Artist)
- Leading Actor: Gary Oldman (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy)
- Leading Actress: Meryl Streep (The Iron Lady)
- Supporting Actor: Christopher Plummer (Beginners)
- Supporting Actress: Octavia Spencer (The Help)
- Animated film: Rango
The Baftas will be handed out on Sunday 12th February
