After scoring impressive hits with Chiththiram Pesuthadi and Anjathe, director Mysskin returns with his hotly-anticipated third film.
Nandalala is apparently based on the 1999 Japanese film named Kikujiro (directed by the famous Takeshi Kitano).
This is also the director's debut film as the hero - that's right, Mysskin has chosen to act in his own film, and plays the lead role in Nandalala.
The film is about two kids, one who is nine years old and the other, though a man is still a ten-year-old in his thoughts.
Both set out on a journey in search of their mother. They meet different people, good and bad during their journey and face the question of how will they find their mother?
Will she be able to recognise her sons and accept them? Mysskin also says that the third character of this film is its music - courtesy of musical maestro Illaiyara.
Starring: Mysskin, Snigdha Akolkar, Ashwath Ram
