It has been quite a while since we have seen Bryan Singer in the director's chair but he is set to return early next year with Jack The Giant Slayer.
The fairytale movie has been box office gold in recent years with the likes of Alice in Wonderland and Snow White and the Huntsman enjoying huge success and now it is the turn of Jack and the Beanstalk to get a big screen makeover.
And if you want to know what you can expect from this re-imagining then we have the new trailer for you to check out:
Nicholas Hoult has seen his career soar in the last couple of years with X-Men: First Class, Clash of the Titans and A Single Man under his belt and he is set to take on the role of Jack in the movie.
And a fantastic cast has been assembled around him Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, Eddie Marsan and Eleanor Tomlinson are all set to star.
As for Singer he hasn't helmed a film since Valkyrie back in 2009 but he is no stranger to the blockbuster with two successful X-Men movies already under his belt.
An ancient war is re-ignited when a young farmhand unwittingly opens a gateway between our world and a fearsome race of giants.
Unleashed on the Earth for the first time in centuries, the giants strive to reclaim the land they once lost, forcing the young man, Jack (Nicholas Hoult), into the battle of his life to stop them.
Fighting for a kingdom and its people, and the love of a brave princess, he comes face to face with the unstoppable warriors he thought only existed in legend... and gets the chance to become a legend himself.
Fairytales have created some great and exciting movies of late and Jack The Giant Slayer looks set to continue that success.
Jack The Giant Slayer is released 22nd March 2013
