Captain Jack Sparrow
Captain Jack Sparrow hit our screens in 2003 and made the modern day pirate rather irresistible.
Not only is he pleasing to the eye for the ladies, he has a charm that makes him memorable to everyone.
Based on Keith Richards and portrayed by Johnny Depp, Jack is well known for fleeing all difficult situations and avoiding danger, once saying: "Why fight when you can negotiate?"
He has a swagger, the heavy khole round the eyes, dreadlocks and the charms in his hair all reflects Depp’s own take on pirates.
Jack has become so much of an icon he is almost always seen at any fancy dress party, with people trying to imitate him but always failing miserably.
We have seen Jack star in back-to-back squeals and has been the subject of the children’s book series: Pirates of the Caribbean: Jack Sparrow, he has appeared in numerous video games.
Jack Sparrow made pirates cool again, and has left men wanting to be him and women lusting after him.
