Millie Mackintosh has facial acupuncture to keep the effects of ageing at bay.
The -year-old beauty finds the sessions relaxing and can feel tension drift away as the needle is pushed in, and she considers them much less painful than the lymph drainage procedures she undergoes before a red carpet appearance.
She said: "I've had facial acupuncture and I liked that - it felt like it really released some tension from between my brows and when they took the needle out it felt like my whole face was a lot more relaxed. That's good for anti-ageing.
"I'm also really into lymph drainage for the face - before an event or a shoot I might have that just to flush any extra fluids or toxins out.
"It's quite painful. The facialist literally puts her fingers inside your mouth and pulls out your cheeks, stimulating the lymph glands."
However, Millie insists the pain is worth it.
She told Look magazine: "It does make your face slimmer and more defined and your skin is really plumped up."
The former 'Made in Chelsea' star also has regular facials, but they are "clinical" rather than relaxing.
She explained: "I have facials every month with Dr. Frances Prenna Jones. They do an extraction and then they use lots of healing lights - it's more clinical.
"It's mainly just a really deep cleanse.
"It's like a chemical peel - the extractions are quite painful but it's always quick and it's better than having a breakout at home."
