The Met ball might have been a few weeks ago now but it is still making the headlines, today courtesy of Valentino who was not happy with the dress code for the event.
Anna Wintour and Marc Jacobs wanted legs on show with short dresses but Valentino was not happy with this style. The designer told The Observer: "I think now all the girls look very ugly.!
Shaking his head and muttering "no, no, no", wiggling his finger like a disappointed schoolmaster, he added: "I saw the pictures of the Metropolitan gala evening [in New York] last week and I never saw something more ugly.
"All the girls have their legs out with the most terrible proportions."
Now we're not one to argue with one of the world's most respected designers but if Gisele, Miranda Kerr and Victoria Beckham all look ugly what hope is there for the rest of us!?
