Roberto Cavalli has signed a deal with high street store H&M.

The flamboyant Italian fashion designer will produce a 25 piece collection for woman and a 20 piece collection for men.

His celebrity clientele includes Sienna Miller, Victoria Beckham, Madonna, Beyoncé, Gwyneth Paltrow, Charlize Thereon, Jennifer Lopez and Sharon Stone.

The new range will be available from November 8th at 200 stores worldwide, including its UK flagship in Oxford Circus, London, and W1.

Cavalli said:" I enthusiastically welcomed this invitation, proud to bring the lively and positive spirit of my work to a new audience, who will be able to see and interpret my style in an individual way."

H&M’s Margareta van den Bosch added:" Roberto Cavalli has created a world of his own, iconic and full of fantasy, when it comes to colours, prints, and style."

Hermès Celebrates 70 years Anniversary

Hermès is celebrating 70 years of selling their iconic silk scarves with a two week exhibition in Hong Kong.

The exhibition called ‘Once Upon a Silk’ details the French fashion house‘s use of silk through the decades. It will be held in the at the city's Pacific Place mall on 29 June.

US artist Hilton McConnico has been commissioned by Hermès to design the show using a Chinese legend about the origins of the Silk Route to best showcase the Hermès archives.

Fashion united reported that according to the tale, a bird with wings of silk sets of on a journey to discover the meaning of life and shed its feathers along the way. These created the Silk Route.

Using this storyline, McConnico illustrates the evolvement of and themes used in Hermès' silk scarves.

The French brand is synonymous with luxury since their first silk scarf in 1937; since the company have made 1,500 scarf designs. Patricia Johnson
