The 'Coronation Street' actress has opened up after she was attacked on the social networking site and even received taunts over the death of her and her ex-husband Jamie Lomas' baby son in 2009 after he was born 18 weeks premature.

She said: "I've had all sorts on Twitter - death threats, people calling me a home-wrecker. But the worst thing someone said was 'Remember when your baby died and I laughed?'

"Messages like that are just sick and you have to think they are coming from someone who is not well."

Kym added she finds it frustrating when she speaks out against her critics as she feels helpless when it comes to changing people's opinions of her.

She said: "It is annoying when you read something about yourself that isn't true and then get loads of abuse for it on Twitter. You want to tell everyone it isn't true but people don't listen because they have already made their minds up.

"It is frustrating that people see you a certain way that you're not but that's something I just have to live with because it comes with the territory and is part of the job."

Although the brunette beauty, 38, insists she will never give in to the bullies and quit Twitter for good because she is "too addicted".

She told the Daily Star newspaper: "It is horrific to have to read something like that but I would never consider quitting Twitter. I did read I had quit Twitter but that's not true - trolls won't push me off there, I'm too addicted."
