In a testiment to her popularity it has been reported that Kylie Minogue made a staggering £4.5 million in her year off to fight breast cancer.The 39 year old pop princes was diagnosed with cancer in May 2005 and retreated from the public eye in order to fight the disease.In ger time out of the spot light she still managed to rake in £2.63 million from other business ventures and £1.85 million from her worldwide record sales.As part of her treatment Kylie underwent surgery, just days after her having cancer was announced as well as a course of chemotherapy.In November 2006 she resumed her Showgirl-Homecoming Tour performing to a sell out crowds in Sydney she also performd alongside U2 just days after returning to the stage.Minogue can currently be spotted in an around Cardiff as she joins latest Timelord David Tennant for the christmas special of Doctor Who.Kylie plays a waitress abord the Titanic which crashed into the TARDIS at the end of series three of the show.
