Katie Price and Peter André have topped a recent survey with 96% of the country naming their daughter, Princess Tiammi, as having the UK’s cheesiest celebrity baby name.
In a recent survey of Britain’s most cheesiest celebrity baby names, Princess Tiammi shot to the top of the poll followed closely by celebrity chef and wife, Jamie and Jules Oliver’s recent addition, Petal Blossom Rainbow at 92% and Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay front man Chris Martin’s daughter Apple with 76%.
Commissioned by Original Dutch Edam cheese, the results come as Katie Price made a sharp exit from reality TV show I’m a Celebrity after being voted by the public to carry out the Bushtucker Trials for seven consecutive days.
Back in 2007 Peter Andre explained: "Katie always loved the name Princess but everyone thought it was over the top.
"I loved it too but I wanted to name her after both our mums and then I just woke up one morning and though ‘I know! We’ll put them together!’ If people don’t like it, that’s up to them. We’re really happy and proud."
A spokesperson for Dutch Edam wedge and ball said: "We weren’t surprised that Princess Tiaami topped the poll her name caused quite a controversy when Katie and Peter announced it back in 2007.
"As Peter and Katie have such big personalities it’s only fitting they give their daughter a unique name!"
