Johnny Depp was left stunned at the weekend after he was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Film bosses awarded the star with the achievement in the Bahamas on Sunday night.
Depp made his acting debut in the 1984 cult film favourite A Nightmare on Elm Street.
He has then gone on to land blockbuster after blockbuster, starring in Pirates Of The Caribbean and Alice In Wonderland due out next year.
Depp was handed the prestigious Career Achievement Award at the 2009 Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF) in Nassau by Sean Connery.
Upon receiving the honour, Depp admitted he was "a little stupefied by the notion of winning awards," adding, "I'm amazed I get jobs after all this time".
