The 26-year-old singer was due to be a juror on a sexual assault case in Nashville, Tennessee on Monday (29.08.16) , but before she was dismissed as a result of her lawsuit against former radio host David Mueller, her supporters shared photos of her on jury duty.

Several fans took to Twitter to post images of Taylor on jury service with their family members.

One wrote: "So my grandma in nashville had jury duty with @taylorswift13 (sic)"

Another tweeted: "My mom just causally has jury duty with Taylor SWIFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sic)"

One fan even posted a picture of an autograph Taylor had signed for her.

The blonde star was selected to be a juror in Nashville last December but was unable to appear because she was in Australia as part of her '1989 World Tour'.

She deferred her jury duty at the time.

Taylor has accused DJ Mueller of grabbing her bum when they met backstage at her concert in Colorado last year.

As a result, the judge ruled she could not be impartial in the aggravated rape and kidnapping case she was due to be a juror on, but Taylor said she was happy to serve on another type of case.

Ken Whitehouse, a spokesman for the Davidson County district attorney general's office, said: "She asked to be left off out of concern for an upcoming trial in Denver where she was - she used the term - 'groped' by a fan at a meet-and-greet."

David, who has claimed he never inappropriately touched Taylor in any way, filed a lawsuit against the 'Style' hitmaker last year claiming he was fired from a country radio station after being kicked out of her concert when her security team made the allegations against him.

Taylor has since launched a counter-claim, insisting she was "surprised, upset, offended, and alarmed" by the alleged assault.
