Noel and Liam Gallagher won't be seeing each other over Christmas.
The brothers found fame in global conquering rock band Oasis together, but since the guitarist walked out on the band in August 2009 the siblings have had a tumultuous relationship.
Although Noel and Liam do now speak they are not are friendly enough terms to visit each other over the festive season with their respective children.
Speaking about his plans for Christmas during an interview, Noel was asked if he would be seeing Liam over the holidays, to which he replied: "No".
But the 48-year-old songwriter has faith he will find peace with his 43-year-old sibling at some point in the future.
In the chat for BBC Radio 2, he added: "It's difficult for people to understand that to be in a working relationship for 20 years with someone you're so close with is really difficult. And there's a whole mess that's gone on around it. But I've no doubt that, one day, it'll be all OK again."
Since Oasis disbanded, Noel has found success as a solo star with his project Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, while Liam broke up his post-Oasis band Beady Eye in October 2014.
There have been constant rumours this year that Oasis could be reforming. But Noel insists the chances of a reunion are less than one per cent.
He stated: "Leaving Oasis - that was a horrible night. I knew that it was going to be a decision that would follow me around - there's still not a day where I don't read something about us getting back together - so I knew what I was getting myself into. It was the right thing to do, definitely. What Oasis had in its future was to do bigger tours and generate more money, which is great. I wasn't planning on going solo, but it was such a mess that I was happier off doing that."
