The 37-year-old star wished her grandma MJ - whose real name is Mary Jo Campbell - a happy 84th birthday on Thursday (26.07.18), and admitted her relative is the "strongest person" she knows and always provides her with the "best advice".

Captioning an image of the pair, Kim wrote on Instagram: "Happy 84th Birthday to my main idol, my grandma MJ! My grandma is the strongest person I know! I saw her be the provider of her family and run her own clothing store my whole life, she's battled cancer and beat it twice, and she always gives me the realest best advice! She's probably the only person on this planet that I still remember their home number by heart lol My grandma has a finsta so everyone leave nice comments wishing her a happy birthday! (sic)"

Kim's mother Kris Jenner admitted she is "forever grateful" to her mum, and thanked her for the "sacrifices" she made during her younger years.

She wrote on Instagram: "Happy birthday to my beautiful mom who I love beyond words!!! I feel so blessed and forever grateful that we get to share so many precious memories together and go through this life together... MJ you are my life and my heart and I love you more than words can ever express.

"Thank you for every single thing you ever sacrificed or did for those you love. Especially me. Thank you for loving me the way you do.... I thank God every day for you ..... I hope you have a magical day (sic)"

Kim's sister Khloe Kardashian, 34, wrote: "Happy Birthday my sweet MJ!! (sic)"

Last year, MJ joked that she has a lot in common with Kim - who has kids North West, five, Saint, two, and six-month-old Chicago, with husband Kanye West - including short-lived marriages following the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star's 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries in 2013.

MJ said: "We have so much in common - history repeats itself. I can't believe it, because I was married for two months at 18. Right out of high school I was given an engagement ring, a guy I had been going with for four years.

"And then I just thought, 'You know what? This isn't really that much fun,' so I got out of it."

Kim added: "Yes! I get it, grandma. I feel you."
