Ke$ha has personally reached out to her fans on Twitter to express her gratitude for their support while she seeks treatment in rehab for an eating disorder.
The 'Timber' hitmaker, who is currently receiving treatment for an eating disorder at the Timberline Knolls clinic near Chicago, took to Twitter last night (22.01.14) to express her gratitude to her loyal followers for showing her "love" while she seeks treatment.
She tweeted: "hey it's Kesha from treatment. I just wanted to say that this is really hard and necessary work. I'm grateful for all the love and support
"i couldnt do this without you. (sic)"
Fans were reassured on Tuesday (21.01.14) when a friend of Ke$ha's took to her account to reveal the 26-year-old singer is on the road to recovery and will "be back soon and better than ever".
Just a few hours later, the pal reached out to the blonde beauty's fans once again, asking them to send over some supplies so that she can get started on her latest art project.
The tweet read: "Hey guys this is K's friend again. She's doing well and needs more of your teeth to make art with at the treatment center. She misses you (sic)."
Ke$ha checked into rehab on January 3 after admitting she was suffering with anorexia and bulimia, but she is adamant she will "learn to love" herself again.
