Jon Hamm is enjoying taking a career break now 'Mad Men' has finished filming for good.
The 43-year-old actor has taken a break since filming his final scenes in advertising drama 'Mad Men' and insists he is "too old" to have done what some of his former colleagues did and head straight into a new project.
He said: "I'm taking some meetings on projects, but mostly I've been in chill-out.
"I've enjoyed it, and I think it was warranted. I worked hard for eight years. I know some of my castmates are on to other projects, but I'm too old for that.
"I'm looking in the mirror right now. I see more grey than ever."
Jon can currently be seen starring opposite Daniel Radcliffe in
'A Young Doctor's Notebook and Other Stories' and though he plays a middle-aged Russian doctor who can travel back in time to advise his younger self, he admits he would never have listened if the same thing had happened to him as a young man - because he thought all older people were "stupid".
Speaking to USA Today newspaper, he said: "I think everyone would love a chance to talk to their younger selves. The only trouble is that the younger self will never listen.
"I know I wouldn't have. I thought everyone older was stupid."
