Courteney Cox is keen to reunite with Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow and is believed to be working on a new sitcom that they can star in.
Cox, Aniston and Kudrow are best known for their years on Friends and could be about to work again.
The trio appeared on Jimmy Kimmel just last month where they talked about how much fun they use to have working on Friends.
A source told Heat magazine: "Courteney wants to direct a pilot staring herself, Jen and Lisa as middle-aged women who have kids by artificial means.
"She started talks after their appearance on Jimmy Kimmel. They had another dinner together in LA on 23 September to discuss details and it went really well.
"They're all incredibly excited at the prospect of working together again. Doing Jimmy's show reminded them how much fun they used to have."
While the trio are excited at the prospect of working together again, it has been hinted that Aniston is a little uncomfortable with the show's subject matter.
"The baby topic must have hit a nerve for her. She's the only one who hasn't had children. Courteney's got her daughter Coco and Lisa has Julian, while Jen hasn't become a mum yet, so it must be difficult to joke about.
"Either way, the three girls are in total agreement that a work reunion of some sorts is in order."
Should Cox direct the pilot herself, this would not be her first outing as director. She made her debut back in 2008 with short film The Monday Before Thanksgiving before going on to work in TV and film.
She helmed a series of episodes of Cougar Town, and made her big screen feature film debut with Just Before I Go.
