The 'Zoolander 2' actor insists he wouldn't be half as funny without his actress wife's help and tests all of his material out on her first.
The 49-year-old director said: "We trust each other. We get each other. You can't do comedy in a vacuum. You need people to react."
Ben previously admitted he finds it difficult to stay relevant as he gets older.

"Pop culture moves so quickly now and people's attention spans are so short."
While the couple, who got married in 2000 and have 12-year-old daughter Ella and nine-year-old son Quinlin, enjoy working together on set and have teamed up on a number of films, including 'Dodgeball' and 'Zoolander' in the past, Christine, 44, admits she rarely lets Ben help her in the kitchen.
Asked about their plans for the annual Thanksgiving holiday in the US later this month, she told Us Weekly: "I spend three days cooking. It's all about sugar, butter, casseroles and family traditions."
