Amy Adams isn't bothered about gaining the perfect body.
The 38-year-old actress - who has three-year-old daughter Aviana with her fiance Darren Le Gallo - admits she didn't go on a strict diet or assign herself to a strenuous workout routine to get into shape for her role as Lois Lane in the 2013 superman movie 'Man of Steel' because she didn't want to tire herself out before a day of filming.
Speaking to Interview Magazine, she said: "I have a small child, so the idea of getting up at 3am to train before a day of shooting ... I just don't have it in me, although I have so much respect for people who do. I'll allow myself to be flawed. The illusion of perfection is an illusion anyway."
The star insists she's never taken herself too seriously and claims as a child she was a bit "strange" because she would prance around rein-acting musical 'Grease'.
She explained: "I was really into 'Grease', too, when I was a kid - like reenacting 'Hopelessly Devoted to You'. I was a strange child. But I think I'm probably painting a pretty accurate picture."
