-
Wind whistling through my hair
warm sunlight streaming on my face
holding on tight.
Caressing your shoulder with my cheek,
kissing the nape of your neck.
Inhaling your scent:
intoxicating
alluring,
drawing me closer to you.
Ahead of us adventures:
vistas I have never seen
Rocky Mountains towering above
brilliant green flora and fauna covered valleys below.
Roadsides dotted with purple, blue, yellow and pink,
indian paint brushes cover the hillsides.
Incredulous views around each bend
revealing the wondrous glory of creation,
whilst
riding behind my baby.
Snow capped peaks,
quickly melting,
cascading into waterfalls,
running down the mountain sides,
churning into sparkling rivers.
Swiftly they flow past my eyes
roaring past my ears
Elfin forests:
miniature play grounds for fairies and such,
stuff of fantasy,
allowing my mind to wander and imagine,
possibilities and dreams....
whilst
riding behind my baby,.
Every where I turn,
beauty,
and majesty,
reveling in the fragrance of the wildflowers,
the fresh cut pines,
the sweet aroma of the campfires.
Confounding my senses,
while I breathe it all in
and let all else go,
whilst
riding behind my baby.
The sweet smell of my man
nestled between my thighs
exciting me with pleasure
and promise
just knowing he's there..
Feeling safe and comfortable,
relaxed and renewed,
refreshed by the loveliness I see,
the joy I feel,
whilst
riding behind my baby
Behind me,
I leave the cares of the world,
the cares of my day,
forgotten.
Replaced by the things I feel and know
when I am riding behind my baby.
