A man named Phuc Dat Bich has admitted he's ''honoured to be able to make people happy'' after his rude-sounding moniker made headlines across the globe last week.
The 23-year-old gentleman - who is Vietnamese-Australian - has taken to his Facebook account to thank people for their support after he was forced to post a photograph of his passport to prevent his online account being deleted again.
He wrote: ''I am glad and honoured to be able to make people happy by simply making them laugh at something that appears outrageous and ridiculous.
''Much tragic events have happened all over the world, out of it all only happiness can mend.''
However, despite his positive demeanour, the bank worker - whose name is pronounced Phoo Da Bic - was initially angry about the situation when he took to his account earlier this year to brand the debacle ''highly irritating.''
He wrote at the time: ''I find it highly irritating the fact that nobody seems to believe me when I say that my full legal name is how you see it.''
