According to the Belfast Telegraph, Love Island's Calum Best denied reports about there being anything between himself and Bianca Gascoigne, when he attended the West Coast Cooler Glamour fashion show recently.
"We're just mates, she's a good girl and I've got a lot of time for her and I'm good friends with her dad so I take care of her," the 25 year old star apparently divulged to the newspaper.
"I think the thought of finding romance on a TV reality show is pretty ridiculous anyway. I was only in it for the pay cheque and that's the truth."
Since winning the popular ITV1, Calum described life as being "pretty hectic", but was delighted to talk about the possiblity of featuring in a production about the life of his father, the legendary footballer George Best.
"Somebody brought that up and I would be more than happy to do it. But it's all just been speculation," he continued.
However, the King of the Fiji resort admitted that he now desires to become an actor.
"I got a few movie scripts so I'm going to do some auditions. I'm just waiting for someone to give me the part."
