England win toss, opt to bowl against India

England won the toss and opted to bowl in the first one-day international against India at the Ferozeshah Kotla stadium here Tuesday.

India went in with three seamers and one spinner, while local boys Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir opened the innings.

Earlier, England had rallied to draw the three-match Test series 1-1.
