I'm so upset about it, I can't even find any humour in it. It's pretty embarrassing.

A shameless burglar stole from a US police station.

Robert Lloyd Finder, 26, broke into the Coos County Jail in Oregon before stealing a radio, two stun guns and a Crown Victoria patrol car.

Embarassed Police Chief Steve Scibelli was relieved to arrest Finder the next day when he was caught trying to sell the guns.

He said: "I'm so upset about it, I can't even find any humour in it. It's pretty embarrassing."

Finder was held in the prison overnight while officers charged him with every offense they could, including burglary, possession of burglary tools, theft, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, tampering with physical evidence and reckless driving.

PC Scibelli said the man made off with the goods while officers were responding to an alleged assault. He is believed to have entered through an unlocked door.
