Estelle 'No Substitute Lover'

5 months ago 05th Jun 15:24

Atlantic Records/Homeschool artist Estelle will release, ‘No Substitute Love’ on June 30th from her Top 10 album Shine.

This single follows the success of the wil.i.am  produced, ‘American Boy’ (featuring kanYe west), which spent 5 weeks at number 1, entering the UK singles chart on just digital downloads alone.  Estelle also headlines a string of dates in June, playing Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and London.

Produced by Wyclef Jean, ‘No Substitute Love’ contains elements from the lovers rock classic Substitute Lover by Jamaican artist Half Pint and George Michael’s hit ‘Faith’.

It is already enjoying strong radio support and added to the playlists of Galaxy network, Choice, 1Xtra, Capital and Kiss FM.  The commercial CD features a Wideboys house remix and a bassline mix by Witty Boy.

Estelle’s new album Shine includes contributions from an array of superstars including, Mark Ronson, Wyclef Jean, wil.i.am, Gnarls Barkley’s Cee-Lo, kanYe west and John Legend.

However, despite the star studded guest roster, it is Estelle who shines brightest throughout the collection.

Her idiosyncratic vocals sensual, swaggering and always special - unite the album’s diverse spectrum of sonic styles spanning funk, reggae, soul, R&B and anything else that takes the West Londoner’s fancy.
