The Game Will Keep On Rhyming About Tough Past In Retirement.

1 month ago 20th Jul 10:47

The Game

Retirement won't stop The Game from rhyming about his tough Compton, California upbringing - because he spent 25 years "poor, broke and lonely".

The rapper has revealed his upcoming third album will be his last as he embarks on a full-time career as a record label mogul and actor/presenter.

But he insists he can't stop writing about his youth - because he's still bitter and angry about so many things.

He tells Femalefirst, "I'm from Compton at heart and it doesn't matter how much money I come across, I'm gonna be me. I've spent more years broke than I have rich.

"I've been rich since 2005... For 25 years, I was poor, broke and lonely, man. It's gonna take me the rest of my life to run out of things to say about my childhood and growing up in Compton".
