Stephen Hibbert was the face behind the Gimp mask in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction in 1994 but what happened to the actor after the success of the movie?
Hibbert worked in television before landing a role in Tarantino's Pulp Fiction as one of the film's most memorable and little known about characters.
The Gimp is a sex slave/voyeur for Zed and Maynard. His real identity is not known. He is kept in a box in the basement of Maynard's pawn shop for sexual purposes.
Since then the actor has stuck with his acting career moving between television and film roles including shows such as Random Play and Just Shoot Me.
He has made other big screen appearances, shame very few people recognised him, in Austen Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and 2003' adaptation of the hit books The Cat in the Hat.
Of late the roles which he has appeared in have only been small; including small parts in National Treasure: Book of Secrets and television show Twenty Good Years for just one episode.
Away from acting Hibbert has become a writer for television, in particular on Boy Meets World , working on a string of episodes since 1997.
Despite this he will always be associated with his 1994 role as the rather strange Gimp, nice!
