Stella Mc Cartney is to open her first store in Japan.
The designer daughter of Sir Paul Mc Cartney, has signed a five year licensing contract with Unit & Guest Ltd.
The company already distribute and develop brands like Diane Von Furstenberg, Luella Bartley and Biba in the country.
Unit & Guest will distribute Stella’s ready to wear range and accessories line.
CEO of the brand Marco Bizzarri told wwd, that the label would also be opening in select Japanese stores.
President of Unit & Guest Tetsuya Hashida said he looked forward to creating ‘a strong Stella Mc Cartney brand.
Celebrity fans of the designs include Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Moss.
