Patrick Dempsey is New Face of Versace

Patrick Dempsey has been named as the new face of the Versace ad campaigns.

The Grey's Anatomy star will feature in the spring/summer 08 menswear campaign after a recent shoot with top fashion photographer Mario Testino.

"It was so lovely to work with Donatella Versace, she is an iconic and inspirational woman and a wonderful person, not to mention what a pleasure it was to work with Mario Testino, too, one of the world's finest photographers."

Donatella seemed quite impressed with Patrick too: "Patrick represents everything that is great about this collection � he has that confidence, he is completely comfortable in his own skin, which is so attractive. He is the modern man of today and of course looks fantastic in the clothes,� she said in a press release.

As well as starring as dreamy Dr Derek Shepherd in Greys Anatomy he is currently appearing in Disney's Enchanted which is already proving to be a Christmas hit.
