The size zero debate has long been an issue in recent years, none more so than on the catwalk and it looks set to rear its ugly head again, after the British Fashion Council's decision to change its strategy over 'size zero'.
Mayor Boris Johnson has been urged to withdraw funding from London Fashion Week, after the BFC was forced to abandon its plans for models to undergo health checks, due to lack of International support.
If funding was cut, then this would be the latest disaster for the London event, following the BFC's turnaround on the model checks and growing fears that the event may overlap with New York Fashion Week.
In the USA, however the Council of Fashion Designers of America have announced that they will be setting up health booths at the fashion event, after facing heavy criticism for not fully supporting the BFC's guidelines.
