When Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone hit the big screen in 2001 Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson became three of the most famous child actors as they took on the roles of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
A decade later and the three stars are reprising their roles as the first part of the final instalment Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.
So with the series coming to an end next summer we take a look at what lies ahead for the stars of Harry Potter.
Daniel Radcliffe: will forever be known as Harry Potter and while he aired concerns that he may never land any other roles he need never had worried.
Since landing the role of the boy wizard has mixed and matched his roles moving between TV with My Boy Jack and Extras as well as movie roles in December Boys.
But he is currently filming the horror/thriller The Woman In Black, which is a big screen adaptation of the Susan Hill novel.
Radcliffe takes on the role of lawyer Arthur Kipps alongside Ciran Hinds and Janey McTeer in the James Watkins directed project.
Up next is The Journey Is The Destination, which is a biopic about British photographer Daniel Eldon.
Rupert Grint: has already enjoyed success away from Harry Potter with movies such as Wild Target and Cherrybomb.
Wild Target saw him star alongside Emily Blunt and Bill Nighy in his first movie of 2010. But Eddie the Eagle it the next project on the horizon for Grint.
Directed by Declan Lowney the movie follows the story of England's first ski jumper to enter the Winter Olympics in which Grint will play the title character.
Emma Watson: has not been seen on the big screen since Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince but will reprise the role of Hermione later this week.
Despite being on of the biggest British actresses Watson has continued with her education and is currently at Brown’s university in America.
However she is currently working on a new project called My Week With Marilyn, which also stars Michelle Williams, Kenneth Branagh and Eddie Redmayne.
Redmayne takes on the role of Colin Clark, an employee of Sir Laurence Olivier, who documents the tense interaction between Olivier and Marilyn Monroe during production of The Prince and the Showgirl.
Tom Felton: has made his name playing Draco Malfoy but has been super busy this year with a sting of roles flowing in.
He has already completed work on Rise of the Apes, which also stars James Franco, Brian Cox, Freida Pinto and Andy Serkis.
Directed by Rupert Wyatt the movie is set in present day San Francisco, where man's own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.
He has also completed work on The Apparition and has been linked to roles in Evac and Grace and Danger.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 is released 19th November.
