Dorothy Hamill is still struggling to overcome the side effects of her breast cancer battle, two years after beating the disease.

Former Olympic ice-skating champion was diagnosed with the deadly illness in 2007 and underwent intense radiation treatment to kill off the cancerous cells.

The 54 year old was given the all clear in 2008 but Hamill admits she faces regular periods of fatigue and side effects from the surgery and the pills she has to continue taking to prevent the disease coming back.

She tells People.com, "It's out of my system. I'm here and so far, so good. I'm not feeling great, but I'm better.

"I don't have a lot of energy. I get really tired. Even when I'm not skating I get tired."
