Will Smith hated 'flying' in his new movie.
The 'Men in Black' star plays a failed superhero in 'Hancock' and vowed never to repeat the stunt again.
He explained to website Parade.com: "One night, I was hanging on wires 50 feet in the air. I'm like, 'Oh, my god. I'm Will Smith. What the hell am I doing up here?' It's funny how Hancock lands after flying. His depth perception is off and he's always kind of slamming into the ground and cars and stuff.
"So I was up in the air, and we would do free falls on these wires. About two feet from the ground, the wires would kick in to break my fall. I was like, 'I'm not doing that no more. We're done with that. Next time it's CGI, baby.'"
The actor claims he never wanted to fly when he was a child, but there was one super power he wished he had.
He added: "I don't ever remember wanting to fly. I always wanted to be strong. I always wanted to pick stuff up and move stuff, always wanted to move things with my mind, stuff like that. The flying thing was never huge for me."
The actor - who is married to actress Jada Pinkett - admits he is about to get competitive with his eight-year-old daughter.
