The Killers' transatlantic album

Friday (09th) 13:15

The Killers are working on their new album in a different country to their producer.

Frontman Brandon flowers revealed the band are recording in Las Vegas and then sending the tracks over the internet to their London-based producer Stuart Price.

Brandon said: "We do the demos and send them to Stuart over the internet. Then he calls back and we talk about it.

The 'Mr Brightside' singer admits work on the follow-up to 2006's 'Sam's Town' is still only in the early stages.

He said: "At the moment it's sounding like four guys standing around in various living rooms getting ideas together.

"When you're making music anything can seep in, but so far we haven't got a concept to hang the new album on."

Brandon revealed one track the band are working on, 'Tidal Wave' is "a pop song in the vein of 'Drive-In Saturday' by David Bowie and 'I Drove All Night' by Roy Orbison."
